Put the "zing" back into your children!
Music classes will energise the kids and the staff with new songs, new ideas and lots of enthusiasm! Hullabaloo offers quality music classes, running for between 30 and 40 minutes per session, for all children in your care (babies to pre-schoolers). You will be amazed at the benefits and value regular music sessions can offer everyone.
The kids are guaranteed to love it! And the great thing is that while the kids are having fun, some great foundations for learning and personal development are being laid.
Experience and passion make a great combination!“Effective music education begins with participation and enjoyment...”. (National Review of School Music Education, p 80). The Hullabaloo program is designed by Lucy Rogers. With a Bachelor of Music, a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), and more than ten years teaching experience, the program is created to maximize each child’s potential by engaging them in fun musical activities perfectly suited to their developmental stage. The Hullabaloo philosophy which promotes play-based learning and never under-estimates the abilities of children, gives Hullabaloo classes an extra edge rarely found in big franchise companies. "We have been really fortunate to welcome Hullabaloo into our 3-year-old kinder program. This has introduced the children to the world of music with their creative and play-based program that the children absolutely love!" (Carrie, Teacher & Director, Home Road Kinder) How do the children and staff benefit? Additional to the educational outcomes associated with involvement in quality music programs, are a range of other benefits for the children in care. These include exposure to high quality live music, the opportunity to play a range of percussion and tuned instruments and the chance to listen to quality recorded music from a range of different styles. Benefits for teachers and carers include learning new songs to sing with their children, learning new creative play ideas (that are cheap and simple to replicate), and of course taking a moment or two to relax while someone else leads the group.
